Bread Buddies


A few years ago, while burning the midnight oil at TEQUILA\, I took a break and came up with these bread icons for instant messaging. I used these little guys to represent the sort of state of mind I was in.

I misplaced the original illustration files, but I have this screencap to reminisce.

Not sure what “Buttered” meant, but I know I did use “BURNT” a lot. A whole lot.

More Head Sketches

Some sketches of faces and characters over the years.

The first image was done on Autodesk Sketchbook Pro with a Wacom Intuos. The final two in a sketchbook with pencil, PITT pens, TRIA markers, and whiteout pens.
